How easy is a DWI. An experiment with a little help from the Police.

Episode 94,   Dec 06, 2019, 09:00 AM

How easy is it to legally be drunk? Surprisingly easy. Shockingly so. A DWI in Texas is on average a $10,000 uphill battle and a Job killer and for the Whiskey Hobbyist it's something we should really be aware of.

The rule of thumb is 1- 1oz drink 80 proof per hour, your body can process.

Well, how exactly does that work in a hobby where the standard pour size is atleast 1.5 oz and a significantly higher ABV than 80 proof.

This week we sit down with SGT Hill of the Deer Park Police department and 2 test subjects and we drink the average serving in 1.5 hours and test their BAC for the legal limit....the results, may surprise you.
