Would you back compulsory re-testing for older drivers?

It's something a London widower is now calling for after his partner was run over and killed by an 87 year old motorist. William Heagran was jailed last week for 27 months for causing death by dangerous driving. He also caused life changing injuries to another woman. He mistook the accelerator for the brake and reversed at speed in to the friends in a supermarket car park.

As it stand drivers over 70 must self-certify if they're fit to drive every 3 years but that's it.

So should drivers face a re-test when they turn 70?
