The Christmas feature is in its 5th year now and aims to surprise 10 people in Kent over the next 2 weeks after receiving hundreds of nominations about incredible people in the county.
Rob Wills from kmfm Drivetime calls back one person nightly at 6pm and today's call was to Danielle who was nominated by loving husband Nick after a terrible 12months.
Nick said:
"2018 Xmas my wife got diagnosed with Bowel Cancer at 38. She had major surgery in Jan followed by 6 mths of gruelling chemo. We have 2 young kids she battled through she never gave up she kept working as a hairdresser as she didn't want to let her clients down, and still was an amazing mum and wife.
She is now ok and has applied to be a volunteer for Macmillan to help other cancer patients AMAZING!"
