The director of Kent Air Ambulance reflects on the charity's 30-year history

It's been 30 years since the Kent Air Ambulance took the skies en-route to its first emergency.

The charity first started with just a single helicopter, working day time, five days a week across the county - it's now the first and only 24 hour rescue service in the country.

Leigh (pro. Lee) Curtis is the executive director of service delivery and said they're on hand for the most complicated emergencies.
