One of the first Mafia Dons in America, Joe Bonanno was not like his peers. Joe was educated,  old school, and a clever warrior. Who opposed drug trafficking and prostitution in the mafia One of the few gangster to pass away in his 90's. This fascinating man was Mario Puzo inspiration for Vito Corleone in the Godfather.
