What Language Do you Speak?

In this Entry, we discuss the power of the tongue, and how we can use our tongue to bring blessings & life or curses & death. Be careful to guard your mouth and not say anything that contradicts God's will for you. Our mouths set us back when we speak from our emotions and feelings, or our mouths propel us forward when we speak God's promises in faithful expectation.

I would like for you to ask yourself these questions below:

1.) What Language do you speak daily?

2.) If today was Judgement day, based on the language you currently are speaking, how do you feel God should judge you?

3.) What can I thank God for today?

Scriptures:

Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.
