The tagline of the @NoWhiteSaviors Instagram account reads, “We never said no to white people. We just know you shouldn’t be the hero of the story. No White Saviors is an advocacy campaign led by a majority female, majority African team of professionals based in Kampala, Uganda. Their collective experience in the development and aid sectors have led them towards a deep commitment to seeing things move towards a more equitable, anti-racist direction.
