A #Canterbury mum says doctors need to be more aware of a condition that caused her son to suffer memory loss, anxiety and sickness. Encephalitis attacks the brain causing inflammation and affects more than half a million people in the world each year - but research shows eight in 10 of us have never heard of it. Ross started getting symptoms in 2014 when he was 29. His mum Michelle Buggins says it was a traumatic time.
