Season 1, Episode 1788,   Feb 21, 2020, 11:13 PM

Host Bart Zandbergen was joined in the studio by author and non-profit Founder Lisa Wiehebrink. Lisa writes children’s books that uniquely bridge the connection between people and animals to teach life lessons of kindness, compassion, and empathy. She is also the founder of the non-profit organization, “Tails That Teach”, whose mission is to save animal lives and change the lives of children. The Tails That Teach foundation donates books to elementary schools and animal organizations around the country to enhance community outreach efforts and to encourage literacy among children ages 5-8 years old. Lisa is also the proud founder of National Rescue Dog Day, observed annually on May 20, which recognizes the special bond that comes with rescuing a dog, and also brings awareness to the countless number of dogs waiting to be adopted.
