Violent Vickie and Jamie Gendron

Singer/Songwriter Violent Vickie and Comedian/Actor Jamie Gendron joined Mark for quite a spirited and dance-able show.

Vickie talked about growing up as a nice church going girl who even studied opera until she found the riotgrrrl movement when she went to college in Santa Cruz. She started with an 80s drum machine she got from ebay for $40 and has since flourished with a sound which combines punk, goth, Industrial, EDM, shoegaze, trip hop and dream pop and a career that has led her to open for Hanin of Atari Teenage Riot (leading Mark to unwittingly and hilariously misidentify her gender) and Missing Persons and perform at Occupancy Portland. She plays her new song "Serotonin" and a VV classic "Men".

Jamie is always the life of the party and reflects on seeing her ex-lover Eddie Murphy EVERYWHERE the last year due to his comeback. Last time she was on the show she beat a submissive mercilessly only to have that submissive thank her by giving her an extravagant photo shoot too sexy to use as head shots. Jamie is about to shoot her part in a new sitcom where she will portray a bikini model alongside actresses half her age.
