13th March 2020 - Hastings United, Orkney FC and weekly round-up
Season 4, Episode 31, Mar 13, 2020, 05:00 AM
Tim Fuell and Dave Anderson return with your weekly portion of non league news and views.
Billy Wood is Chief Executive at Hastings United and nobody can deny the success on and off the field taking place there with crowds tripled and the club atop their division in the Isthmian League.
In the North Caledonian League they only play 16 league games per season but with 6 to play before the season end at Easter, Orkney FC face a Saturday with two games - one at home, one away and one kicking-off at 12:30pm and one at 12:45pm due to ferry requirements. That means two sides, two management teams and four goalkeepers as manager Charlie Alway explains.
David Richardson rounds the week off with his non league round-up including John Still's retirement announcement, Robbie Simpson getting the Chelmsford City job permanently and Bath City seeing their planning proposal rejected.
