Mission, Texas lockdown sound recorded by Jan Cesareo.

"I woke up to the melody of birds, the soft rustling of the trees, and the occasional passing car. I went outside to record, and noticed that it had rained - probably in the middle of the night, when everyone was deep in slumber. The air smelled of wet dirt, and the breeze was ever so soothing. It was a nice, chilly and relaxing morning: completely polar opposite to what is going on in the world.

"Our governor has ordered a stay-at-home policy, which is enforced by our police. We can't really do much because of it.

'To the global community: Stay safe, stay together, and stay strong. Trying times lay ahead of us. We are living a moment that future generations will read about in history books - let's make them proud of the decisions we took now to save the world."
