The Ministry of Health has registered an increase in the number of people turning up for testing since the first case of coronavirus was detected.
The coronavirus incident manager in the Ministry, Dr. Angok Gordon Kuol says this is a positive development as more people take responsibility to make sure they and the public are safe.
The High-Level COVID-19 taskforce on Sunday announced the country’s first case of COVID-19.
Dr Angok cautions that the country is headed for a critical period that requires the public to act responsibly to prevent the spread of the virus. He explains that the Ministry has activated its response strategy.
