Out for a walk

Loughborough, UK lockdown sound recorded by Andy Billington.

"Lisa, Sofia and I went out in the sun across the fields for our daily exercise session and dropped out onto Woodhouse Lane. We couldn't go through the woods as they are currently closed and as the road turned into a path towards the edge of Loughborough I stopped and took the picture of the pond next to the Road before recording myself walking up the hill on my phone. My wife and daughter walked ahead.

"So what has changed for me? Working from home is different, new but manageable. I am able to exercise still and shop locally for modest supplies. I am also loving the lack of cars on the road.

"I grew up in a rural village called Seagrave so we were well versed in isolation. The rules are easy to align with at the moment. We take nothing for granted which is important."
