I knew her as Laci Ashworth as classmates back in Hueytown, Alabama. Always kind and compassionate, after high school, Laci Ashworth, now Laci Smith, embarked on a journey to become a nurse. Having served as a nurse for 20 years, Laci, now Smith, found her passion around nine years ago in the hospice field of nursing. Laci shares her passion for her work as a hospice nurse and encourages those who have the desire to serve in the hospice field to take that step.
