Birdless time near Bordeaux

Floirac, France lockdown sound recorded by Stephane Bardex.

"I’m living in Bordeaux's outskirt (France). It’s been now around 6 weeks I’m staying at home with my family. As we do have a balcony and plenty of sunny days (unlike the picture!), life is rather easy. We adapted and tried to find the good balance to live together all day long. « Cooking is the teacher, Drinking good wine is the preacher », you know. Homeworking since the beginning of containment, I consider myself damn lucky.

"Did a couple of soundtakes on the same day. On the previous one you could hear birds singing (quite loud!) and some funk music played mellow in the neighborhood. It was a good ambience. Only a couple of minutes later for this soundtake, the birds must have gone to sleep and music  stopped; the result is much more… quiet."
