Taking Stock: Market at 7-week high! Nifty50 back above 9500 on track to hit 10K

It was indeed a wonderful Wednesday on D-Street as market hit a 7-week high. It closed in the green for the third consecutive day in a row. The S&P BSE Sensex rallied over 600 points while the Nifty50 reclaimed 9500 for the first time since March 12.
 
 Let’s look at the final tally on D-Street – the S&P BSE Sensex rose 605 points to 32720 while the Nifty50 closed 172 points higher at 9553.
