Light Shadows

Mark went on his zoom and interviewed Cassandra Vincent and Philip Peters who make up the band Light Shadows.

Philip may indeed be a vampire because his former band Quiet Room opened up for The Cramps, REM and Duran Duran in the early 80s and he looks virtually the same. He is a multi instrumentalist with varied influences and just joined a punk band when he met Cassandra and they have gone off to their own niche as a goth/darkwave but hard to define band. Cassandra grew up shuttling between USA and England but seems to have kept her English accent. She described why Cleveland of all places was vital for her development as an artist. She started singing opera at a young age and in New York kept one foot in the underground and another at Lincoln Center. She is also a tea blogger, known as the Tea Deviant and has a few suggestions as to what Light Shadows songs go with what tea and they both break down their songs from the just released cover of Fall Out Boy's Church, the funky Social Isolation and Bloody Sticky Stuff which may not mean what you think.
