May 06, 2020, 07:00 AM

As if we needed any other excuses to profess our love for Lizzy Caplan, this week the team is taking on an internet sensation turned blockbuster with a hugely talented team behind the camera: 2008's CLOVERFIELD, directed by Matthew Reeves.

Join the team as they look at how a teaser trailer attached to Transformers sent the "MySpace" generation into a frenzy, a frenzy that eventually spawned a loosely connected franchise! We take you from its early inspirations to how it cemented it's place in a post 9/11 world. Also, it has TJ Miller and a really bad love story, so what the hell, right?

As always, like - subscribe - listen with your buds - and watch out for terrors in Subway tunnels (5 stars is an easy way to avoid the parasites we swear).
