Mother's Day with stories from Olympian figure skater Mirai Nagasu and author/educator Roxanna Elden

It's Gurvey’s Law’s annual Mother’s Day extravaganza! Alan and Kerri Kasem celebrate and honor all mothers on this special day with two amazing stories! It figures that skating into the first half hour would be Olympic bronze medalist Mirai Nagasu to share how she is helping her mother (and father) keep the family restaurant, Sushi Kiyosuzu, afloat during the pandemic through a fundraising initiative called Power of 10, which provides yummy meals for first responders. When not figure skating, Mirai dedicated her “quick step” performance on "Dancing with the Stars" to her mother. Then, for those mothers who are feeling the effects of homeschooling, bestselling author, teacher, and mother, Roxanna Elden joins Alan and Kerri to talk about teaching your kids from home, and how you can feel good about it! Tune in to Gurvey’s Law Sunday's, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm PST on KABC-AM 790 TalkRadio, or Alexa and streaming live on kabc.com!‬
