Japan's Government contributes US$ 12 million to South Sudan including US$ 3.1 to WFP

The Government of Japan has recently contributed US$ 12 million to South Sudan including US$ 3.1 to WFP. The money is expected to help support the prevention of COVID – 19 and also for the implementation of the Revitalised Peace agreement. 

H.E. Seiji Okada, Ambassador of Japan to South Sudan and Matthew Hollingworth, WFP’s Country Director in South Sudan, spoke to Miraya’s Sebit William in an exclusive interview.
