The Civil Society says the COVID-19 pandemic should not be used as an excuse for delays in the peace process. Executive Director of the Organization for Responsive Governance, Rajab Mohandis says the allocation of states and appointment of local governments should not be held hostage to the pandemic. 
According to Mohandis, the outbreak of the pandemic should in fact be a motivator for the parties to appoint state administrators to mobilize and coordinate response to the coronavirus.
