Sometimes you read a book, sometimes you don't. That's ok when the world is changing around you, and you have to decide what's important. This garbage book sure isn't.
We discuss pages 101-200 of Star Wars Legends: Splinter of the Mind's Eye by Alan Dean Foster.
But only for a little bit. Forget about the Force awakening. Let's talk about the New Hope that our country is changing. Yes, the guys still talk about this steaming hunk of dog poop (no, not the one in the White House, rather the one they have to read for the podcast), but they also comment on the current movement in our country, and hope that change will continue and for the better.
Our heroes spend a few minutes getting to the hard truths, but also some of the not so hard truths. Rance offers an apology to his brother, and admits to a major lack of commitment. Bob challenges Rance with an off the cuff trivia quiz from this episode's assigned reading. They get off topic a lot, even delving into J.K. Rowling's latest statements relating to Trans rights.
It's getting dodgy out there, so stay tuned, and do the work.
