E5M1: Kirk Forks

Season 1, Episode 12,   Jul 15, 2020, 12:00 PM

Sometimes you read a book by a famous actor, and realize maybe the abridged version isn't a ripoff, but rather a blessing. This week we read Star Trek: The Ashes of Eden by William Shatner, Judith Reeves-Stevens, and Garfield Reeves-Stevens.

WARNING!  REALLY NSFW!

In our filthiest episode yet, our heroes drive one joke so far into the ground, they mistake it for a foundation.  The curses pile up as the guys debate if this book is as bad as they think it is, or if they're just confused by Shatner's self-hero worship/humble bragging.

Bob spouts out an insufferable amount of Star Trek trivia, and Rance admits the most he knows about Star Trek has to do with Shatner's spoken-word musical career.  The guys play a quiz, and don't scream in anger for once!

We bet that Captain Kirk really likes food.  That's what the fork thing is about, right?
