E6M2: Storm Front (Not the Book, Ya Dummy!)

Season 1, Episode 15,   Aug 05, 2020, 08:01 PM

Sometimes you do an episode while waiting for a tropical storm to flood your basement. Guess we're due for some locusts soon, huh? This week we finish reading Peace Talks (The Dresden Files) By Jim Butcher.

WARNING! Kinda sorta NSFW!

(Due to the nature of this week's recording, there may be a few minor audio glitches.  We're working on improving our recording methodology.  We're sorry for any issues.  Please enjoy the episode!)

This week our heroes continue their foray into Dresden files, finishing the latest book, Peace Talks.  There's some mixed feelings about the book as a whole, but nobody is terribly unhappy or disappointed.  What a let down.

The guys continue to wrestle with the nuances of live episodes, and find that sometimes maybe we should invest in a pop filter.  Our hosts dive really deep into spoilers, and give a very unstructured feedback to the reading in question.

Rance brings up very valid, educated and deeply thought out analysis of the book, like an English teacher should.  Bob makes way out there predictions, and compares the book to Empire Strikes Back.  Finally, the episode wraps up with the boys discussing who they would pick to play the characters in a movie version of The Dresden Files.

P.S. We love you! <3
