What would it be like to live in a world where white people are oppressed and black people are superior? This is the world that Noughts and Crosses is set in. Malorie Blackman's famous series of books has been turned into a TV series and this week the Dope Black Women are joined by one of the show's directors, Koby Adom. Koby discusses how he broke into film school as well as the main themes of the TV show such as identity, racism and overcoming adversity.

You can watch all episodes of Noughts and Crosses on BBC iPlayer.
