the Gillingham manager says the sooner they can get fans back at Priestfield the better. They got their season underway at the weekend with a 1-nil win at home to Southend United in the first round of the Carabao Cup. The game was played in a near-empty stadium, as supporters still aren't allowed in because of the pandemic. Boss Steve Evans spoke to us after the match.
