Claire Forde in conversation with... Palma Allan

Oct 20, 2020, 04:19 PM

Continuing her series of sit-down interviews, we go back to February 2020, as Claire Forde sat down to chat with Palma Allan MBE.

Palma is very well known for her work with choirs for children, young people and adults, and for her work as Deputy Headteacher at Inverclyde Academy, and a music teacher working in various schools and her local area of Inverclyde. Her choirs have performed live at BBC Proms in the Park, Children in Need and have featured on several CD/DVD recordings including on American network television.

Claire and Palma talk about her love of music, the 'humbling' experience of being awarded an MBE, and the 'unexpected' achievement of Inverclyde Junior Choir winning a silver medal at the 5th World Choir Games in Austria.
