E11M1: Friday the 13th: Hoarders Edition

Season 1, Episode 23,   Oct 26, 2020, 04:43 PM

Sometimes you start the month of Halloween off with one of the most recognizable horror franchises ever... But like, for teens. This week we "read" Friday the 13th: Mother's Day by Eric Morse, narrated by the 80's Slasher Librarian.

WARNING!  This pretty much this entire month's content will be NSFW!

We apologize for the delay in getting this episode out!  October is a silly month for us! Please bear with us. We'll be back on schedule by the end of the month!

This week our heroes discuss the "Audiobook" Friday the 13th: Mother's Day by Eric Morse, narrated by the 80's Slasher Librarian. We find a really mediocre young adult book, a strange author, and a whole big mess of confusion surrounding the writing of the book, and who actually did so.

The guys discover that some things are not meant for kids, or even teens. And sometimes, maybe we should just let sleeping masks stay buried. Our Audience gets introduced to the 80's Slasher Librarian, a man who has kindly made it his task to suffer through the trash licensed horror series books of the past, and share discontinued content to the rest of the world's unsuspecting souls.

The brothers invite a guest Moose along for this week's ride. Rance makes fun of and challenges yet another "author" to a fist fight, Bob is generally amused at how much like an actual Friday the 13th book this is, and Moose seems to be really bored with the guys not being able to keep their shit together long enough to make a full episode work.

P.S. How many teens are we gonna let die before we just bulldoze Camp Crystal Lake right into the water?
