E11M2: I'm Your Boyfriend Now, Rancey!

Season 1, Episode 24,   Nov 02, 2020, 08:01 PM

Sometimes you continue the month of Halloween, and read a story that is surprisingly deep and original. What a shocker. This week we "read" Nightmares on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger’s Seven Sweetest Dreams, Asleep at the Wheel by Brian Hodge, narrated by the 80's Slasher Librarian.

WARNING!  Not like you need the reminder, but this nightmare is NSFW!

We apologize for the delay in getting this episode out!  October is a silly month for us! Please bear with us.

This week our heroes discuss the "Audiobook" excerpt Nightmares on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger’s Seven Sweetest Dreams, Asleep at the Wheel by Brian Hodge, narrated by the 80's Slasher Librarian. We discover that not every long hidden nightmare has to end in suffering and a week of sadness.

The brothers go for a ride on the spooky side, and meet up with everyone's favorite dream demon along the way. Rance finds an author he finally doesn't want to challenge to fisticuffs, and smiles and says "uh huh," a lot to Rance's scholarly analysis of the subject matter.  At the end of the day, the guys find that sometimes if you sift though enough poop, eventually you might find a diamond someone swallowed by accident.

P.S. If you're having nightmares, don't come crying to us.  That sh*t is contagious, and nobody over here wants to catch a case of the Freddys.
