Blue Nails For World Diabetes Day.

Saturday 14th November 2020 is World Diabetes Day, where charities highlight the condition, treatments, prevention and support for those around the globe.

This year has been a difficult one for those with the condition, with interruptions to regular medical check ups and restrictions for attending face to face groups.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Douglas Twenefour, from Diabetes UK, to learn more about the organisation, how it provides support and why painting your nails blue can help spread the word about the help and support that's available.
