Exclusive Interview with R-JMEC Chairperson Maj. Gen (RTD) Charles Tai Gituai

An international think-tank has been commissioned to support the South Sudan parties in the constitution review process. 

 

Max Planck Foundation from Germany has been commissioned by the Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (R-JMEC) to offer expertise in the consultation and review process. 

 

In an exclusive interview with Radio Miraya, the R-JMEC interim chairperson, Charles Tai Gituai said committees are in place and the process of preparing for the constitutional review are ongoing. 

 

The R-JMEC Chair also updated on the peace process and called on the parties to move swiftly to complete formation of state governments.
