Police: Christmas eve celebrations have been peaceful

Police in Juba are reporting peaceful Christmas eve celebrations 

Speaking to Radio Miraya, Police Spokesperson Maj general Daniel Justin says civilians went about with celebrations in the streets, homes, and other social places peacefully

He said last night was generally quiet and added that security forces remain on high alert to respond to any incident. 

Justin urged parents to control their children to ensure they do not involve themselves in anti-social behaviors.
