Returnees: Let us reconcile and forgive one another

Returning communities in Bazia-Jedid of Wau, have called for forgiveness and reconciliation among citizens in western Bhar El Gazel State.  

Some of the returnees who spoke to Radio Miraya emphasized the need to put behind challenges faced in 2020 and open a new page of unity and peaceful co-existence. 

Mathew Charles Nganji, Chief of Bazia-Jedid area says peaceful co-existence will ease provision of basic services in the area. 

The returnees made the call during new year celebrations over the weekend. The occasion is the first of its kind since the 2016 conflict erupted in the area.
