Happy ‘Daryl BraithDAY’! Celebrating 30 years of The Horses!

30 years ago, Daryl had just enjoyed massive success with his album Edge which produced other iconic hits like As The Days Go By and One Summer. Working on his follow up album Rise, Daryl had already delivered 10 songs, but he and producer Simon Hussey were looking for 'that extra something' to complete the album. Daryl suggested he record a Rikki-Lee Jones/Walter Becker penned song called The Horses, and record backing vocals from NZ artist Margaret Urlich.
