Daily Dose @ 5: Ebit Liew Islamised 157 Bajau Laut villagers, Suu Kyi issued pre-emptive calls to reject coup prior to arrest

Among the headlines for Monday, 1st February, 2021, preacher Ebit Liew who is on day four of a 10-day humanitarian mission to Sabah, posted on Twitter that he converted some 157 villagers from Pulau Tatagan, Semporna to Islam.  

 

Also, Myanmar's de-facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi issued a pre-emptive call for people to reject any coup post  via an official Facebook page of the chair of the National League for Democracy, before she was detained by the military earlier this morning.
