Episode #004: Dominic Bisogno hosts as Kevin Vivas shares his experiences as the translator of 'Red Wine & Arepas: How Football is Becoming Venezuela's Religion', the first English language book on Venezuelan football. Kevin talks about:
  • Accompanying author Jordan Florit in Venezuela
  • Crashing in The AndesĀ
  • And why he feels grateful for living in Caracas

From Caracas to Maracay, Barinas to Merida, and Tachira back to Caracas, Kevin was there for it all, translating, guiding, and accompanying Jordan throughout his time in Venezuela. However, as you'll hear, it was a journey of many firsts for Kevin, too: stadiums, cities, and experiences. It proved to be just the beginning, though, as soon after Jordan returned to England, the decision was made for Kevin to translate the book into Spanish. In this 33-minute podcast, all of the above and more is discussed for the first time!
