Samantha Warren, PhD, is Professor of Organization Studies at the University of Portsmouth, UK, researching career experiences of femxle electronic music producers to investigate how to bring about better gender balance in the industry. She is Co-chair of AFEM’s ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ group, has written for Mixmag, The Independent, Dancecult, and Beatportal (forthcoming) and Sam also DJs and produces music under the artist name Dovetail.
