Free Online Seminars For Blind And Partially Sighted Job Seekers

With 3 in 4 of all blind people, of working age, out of work, many charities are collaborating to support job seekers find employment.

Sometimes it means working with employers to show them the benefits  of employing someone who is blind or partially sighted but it's equally important to give the individuals themselves, as much support and training as possible.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell has been talking with RNIB and Blind Ambition about their free online seminars that aim to do just that.

We also hear from 2 of the attendees, to learn more about their struggle to find employment and what benefits they are getting from this series of events.
