In The Longest battle Emma Martins will be chatting to people who have gone through a similar life changing situation to her own when Emma caught a virus in 2013 which completely changed her life for ever.
The virus that Emma caught in Vietnam caused a brain aneurysm which in turn has severely affected Emma’s eye sight.
Through The Longest battle Emma will be chatting to other people to find out how they and their family and friends around them have coped with similar situations to Emma’s and share their thoughts on life before and after their life changing moment.
In the first episode of The Longest battle Emma is chatting with Actress Maryam D’Abo, who is an amazing lady who survived a brain aneurysm.
Maryam is most famous for her role playing the cellist Kara Milovy in the Bond Movie the Living Daylights and that famous scene when she slides down a cliff on a cello case.
