Season 1, Episode 696,   Mar 10, 2021, 10:00 AM

RNIB is upgrading its Braille Library to offer library books on demand, a new personalised braille reading service designed to increase access to hardcopy braille books for readers across the UK from April 2021.

Connect Radio's Toby Davey was joined by Dave Williams, RNIB Customer Experience manager to explain more about this fantastic new on demand service for Braille users.

Dave outlined the benefits to Braille Library users of the new on demand service which will be launching in April 2021, the new hardcopy Braille books format, size and more environmentally sustainable paper, how the new service will help to improve the provision of children's braille books, why braille means so much to the RNIB and how the changes might affect current braille Library users.
