A recent study by the SUDD institute has underlined the need for the country to develop a strict enforcement and monitoring Mechanisms for the oil and Gas Sector.
The research which focused on improving the participation of South Sudanese in the Petroleum Industry also recommended an immediate amendment of Petroleum Act 2012 in addressing local issues.
The Director of Environment and Natural Resources at SUDD institute Nhial Tiitmamer, told Radio Miraya's Sebit William, that there is a need to develop the capacity of South Sudanese who make 80% of the workforce in the industry.
