Episode #007: In 2016, Venezuela qualified for the women's U17 World Cup on the back of two consecutive South American Championships undefeated. The likes of Deyna Castellanos, Veronica Herrera, and Daniuska Rodriguez had come together to form a golden generation of Venezuelan talent that provided the country real hope of seeing its first World Cup. Jennifer Socorro, a former Venezuela international herself, saw the potential of this group of players not just to become victors on the pitch but to stitch together a torn society. Along with fellow directors Edwin Corona Ramos and David Alonso, Jennifer documented their journey to Jordan and their World Cup exploits in the multi-award winning film 'Nos Llaman Guerreras' (They Call Us Warriors).
