Attack on SPLA-iO cantonment site in Kapoeta

The commander of the SPLA-iO forces in Kapoeta, Eastern Equatoria state has confirmed reports of an attack on Lowareng cantonment site by unknown gunmen.
 
The commander of Edokor division in Kapoeta South, Brigadier General Mohamad Lotede Lokwar says a senior military commander, three soldiers and a woman were killed in Monday's attack.   
 
Several houses were also burnt to the ground and the forces and their families displaced.
 
SPLA-IO Deputy military spokesperson, Col. Lam Paul Gabriel says any attack on their cantonment sites or bases is a violation and a criminal act that cannot be tolerated.
