Police arrest protestors

Police have confirmed the arrest of several civil society activists who were participating in a peaceful protest in Juba and say the group will be produced before courts of law for trial. 

The activists were protesting the death of local artist Trisha C, who was knocked by a water tanker at the Mobil round about last evening. Acting police spokesperson Col James Dak says investigations are ongoing and that once completed, the group will face charges of illegal assembly.
