Diversity in Yachting with Gabriela Barragan: Guest Inae Albury PART TWO

Season 2, Episode 132,   Apr 01, 2021, 05:00 PM

I started out in the tourism industry 10 years ago and in the yachting industry 8 years ago as a day worker. I worked my way up from third stewardess to chief stewardess within the first 4 years. I've worked on numerous vessels from sports fishing yachts to massive 175 ft private motor yachts for both low and high profile clients. My experience has taken me throughout the islands of the Bahamas and South Florida, and has expanded my opportunities in learning from other stewardesses from different backgrounds and cultures that helped me in my journey. Because my personal experience in the industry was more hands on learning, I was able to utilize my skills quickly and more frequently thus ultimately forcing perfection in service and hospitality.
