The Deep Side of Dallas: The history of lynching in Dallas and how it shaped the city

Deputy editorials editor Rudy Bush and the UNT System’s Paul Corliss are joined by historian George Keaton to dig into the terrible history of lynching in Dallas, Derek Chauvin’s killing of George Floyd and the fear so many Black Americans suffered with for generations. Many in Dallas have no idea that the Ku Klux Klan once ruled local government and that Black residents were killed by mob violence on the streets of downtown.
