AMONG the headlines for Monday, 17 May, 2021, the Health Ministry today reported another 4,446 new Covid-19 cases as Malaysia comes out of the Hari Raya break.
Meanwhile, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor has the highest number of infections at 1,650 followed by Sarawak and Johor.
Also, the fighting has spilled into a second week on Monday amid mounting international calls for a ceasefire, as Israel bombed what it said were underground tunnels used by Hamas and Palestinian militants fired rocket barrages at Israeli cities.
