• It’s a Tesla triple whammy with three stories to start off with. The Tesla Roadster hasn’t been seen much since the launch (apart from a stop in Malibu which a Tesla spokesperson said was definitely NOT a breakdown!) but that just changed with an appearance at it’s Palo Alto HQ. https://electrek.co/2018/02/15/tesla-new-roadster-prototype-signting/
• As for the Model 3, Bloomberg have created a tracker which they claim gives you a steer on production rates. They estimate production at 1,025 per week. • BMW are making significant investments in battery technology which they say will give them an advantage over others, with promising signs of solid state batteries working in the lab, although not in production yet. http://www.bmwblog.com/2018/02/15/bmw-already-working-solid-state-batteries-aims-competitive-edge/
• The Kiwi’s are getting electrified with the launch of the first all-EV car sharing scheme - YooGo. 100 electric cars will be launched in 10 hubs, with a choice of BMW i3 or Hyundai Ioniq for rent at $15/hour. http://www.greencarcongress.com/2018/02/20180215-eq.html
• The Geneva Motor Show is coming in March with some significant EV activity. The Jaguar I-PACE will get an official reveal, but so will the Mercedes EQ range.

• And finally, the Renault Electric Vehicle Experience Centre is to open in Stockholm.
