From electric bus fleets to EV charging networks, the World Economic Forum and Bain & Company have revealed the World’s leading cities for EV adoption, including Berlin, Dortmund, Los Angeles, Oslo and London.

Daimler is investing in their Chinese partner BAIC Motor Group – the largest manufacturer of pure electric cars in China, making over 100,000 of them in 2017.

The new Volkswagen Touareg will officially be unveiled on 23rd March in Beijing. The luxury SUV will feature a PHEV variant able to run for around 30 miles on battery power.

A Tesla running on diesel? That was the challenge in Australia where they took a very efficient Volvo and tested it against a Model S which has been charged from a diesel generator. But which one won?

More rapid charging announced for petrol station forecourts in the UK, but is that the best place to fill up?

More proof that cars are becoming an electronics product as Mercedes confirm they’ll skip the Detroit Auto Show in 2019 in favour of promoting their EV’s at events like CES.

And finally in India, we round up the electric mobility announcements from Auto Export 2018 – from the best new EVs to the electric bikes we could be riding soon.
